Anthony Brightwell
Through this success, Ant worked closely with club physiotherapists and developed his passion for rehabilitation and injury care. After hitting his professional peak at the age of 19, Ant went on to study Sports Science in London, followed by a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Amsterdam, graduating in 2010. Ant began his physiotherapy career in the Netherlands at a private clinic specialising in post-operative rehabilitation as well as back pain and shoulder injuries. He became an integral part of the team and went on to successfully launch and manage their newest clinic for three years. At this point, Ant relocated to England and joined a leading physiotherapy clinic in the heart of London where he worked for six years, going on to manage three of their eight clinics. During this time he was able to further develop himself both as a physiotherapist and as a clinic manager Ant now has strong links with the top orthopaedic specialists in London, and is well known for his impeccable post-operative management. Ant is also one of only five McKenzie Credentialed Therapists in London and he uses specialised techniques to treat and educate patients with back and neck pain, seeing impressively fast results. Ant specialises in the management of injuries to all the major joints and uses a combination of biomechanical and functional assessment to guide and progress through a tailored treatment plan. He regularly performs gait analysis to go along with his keen interest in running-based injuries and always uses a hands-on treatment approach whilst equally placing emphasis on postural correction as well as strengthening programmes. Having lived and worked abroad for much of his life, Ant finds it easy to work with people from various different cultures and backgrounds. He has vast experience getting people back on track to achieving their goals whether they are elite athletes, weekend warriors or hard-working office goers.
